VINOVERT is an innovative project for the wine sector in SUDOE region (wine and vineyard businesses in the Southwest European region) over the period 2016-2019, in order to guarantee the competitiveness of companies in the long term. The project focuses on news market requirement in terms of health and environment. Anticipate the new demand for sustainable viticulture offering guarantees of 'naturalness' and environmental responsibility is key.

VINOVERT is both a project and a consortium combining several research disciplines (economics, sociology, agronomy, viticulture, oenology, chemistry, experimentation) with companies and institutions in the SUDOE area directly involved in operational devices and their dissemination.
Project scientific approach & activities
The Scientific logic is based on two axes:
- The assessment of market responsiveness for environmental and health guarantees;
- The evaluation of the possibilities of reducing inputs on the vineyard and in the cellar.
An analysis the standards and regulations evolution will be transverse to these two axes.
